I want to thank you all so much for your sweet comments and messages on my last post. I am so proud of those boys :) Thank you also for saying I look young! Funny story, we went to a party at a friends house over the summer. One of the guests there thought I was Ashton's girlfriend!! He thought that was soooo embarrassing and disgusting, lol. It was hilarious. But disturbing, ha ha :)
Michelle from Petite Michelle Louise has started a new blog party! I am so excited for this one :) It is called Grey Dey Thursdey! Grey and white together are one of my most favorite combinations. I also have a ton of grey in my closet :) Grey and white decor for me is so serene and soothing. I don't like grey days outside though! But inside = Love! In fact, my kitchen is done in mostly all grey and white. I plan to do a post on my kitchen for Grey Dey Thursdey soon!
Today, I'm going to share some grey and white vignettes in my kitchen. Last week, I received a surprise in the mail from my friend Julie Marie from Idyll Hours blog. She is such a sweetheart to think of me! She sent me the white creamer and the silver spoons inside of it!! Does she know me or what? And some of the spoons even say spring flowers on the back! Even more perfect :) This gift immediately inspired a new vignette on my kitchen hutch. I took one of my grey washcloths from Jeanne d' Arc living to sit everything on. I then cut a favorite photo from the September issue of Jeanne d' Arc Living (a crime, I know! Who would ever cut into one of those amazing magazines. It was hard, trust me!). But they have the most beautiful photos. Worthy of being framed! So that is what I did. I have this amazing grain sack printed picture frame that I purchased from Rebecca (A Gathering Place). It goes perfectly with the creamer, spoons and washcloth :) Then, I just added a little bouquet of dried lavender. I absolutely love it! Thank you so much again Julie Marie :)
This little grouping is set up on the kitchen counter. I purchased the 7 plaque from Dore of Burlap Luxe. I chose the number 7 because we have seven kids :) If you haven't visited Burlap Luxe blog, you must!! Sooo much beautiful inspiration. And mostly in greys and whites! Her shoppe is fabulous too.
On my grey and white cup rack, hangs this darling little tin box. Another purchase from A Gathering Place :)
This is also in...grey and white of course! I tucked some lavender into it :)
I want to thank Michelle so much for hosting this new blog party! Michelle's blog is one of my very very favorites. Everything is so beautiful, her home is to die for!! And she also has an Etsy shoppe offering so many beautiful things. From jewelry to craft supplies! Michelle is uber talented!!
Thank you for visiting me today! I hope you have a wonderful weekend.
