Hello! Welcome to my "new" blog! I figured, since I have changed the name of my blog, I needed to change my blog's URL too! Bunny Rose Cottage is a part of my past. A very good part. I had so many wonderful memories in that home and in that part of my life. But my life has changed, a lot. And it is time to change my blog address too, not just the name :) Thank you so much for finding me here. I hope you will continue to follow my journey, here on this blog. I love all of my followers and I don't wamt tp lose any of you :) I merged all of the posts from my other blog to this one, so it is basically the same blog but with a different web address :) Love to you all and again, thank you!!

Olives Anyone?

Hello, hope you are having a great week!   Today, I wanted to share with you one of the things I bought with my birthday money :)

I have been looking and looking for one of these fabulous olive buckets for quite some time.  I have seen so many wonderful ideas for these on blogs and in magazines.  I just knew I needed to find one, lol.  They are a little pricey and a bit hard to find.

Pottery Barn even has one on their site found HERE!  So they must be popular, lol.  After searching and waiting, I finally found one at the right price!!  I was so excited :)

But when it finally arrived, I was even more happy with it.  I love the patina.  And it looks so nice on my little farmhouse table from Post Road Vintage :)  I cant wait to fill it with tons and tons of wild flowers and hydrangeas this summer!  These are huge so could be filled with so many different things.  Next year, I think I will put my kitchen Christmas tree in here :)  I softened it up with some pretty lace.  I love the look of romance mixed with industrial.

Hard to believe that Valentine's Day is only a week away!  Dave and my anniversary is only nine days away :)  The older kids are going to babysit so we can go out.  We are planning on both getting new wedding rings for our anniversary and then we will go on a little getaway in July :)  Anyway, I didn't decorate very much for Valentine's Day in the kitchen.  This little bowl has some glass hearts inside and that is about it.  I recently found this cool letter F and just had to have it.  For me, it stands for family :)  Once Valentine's Day is over, I am going to immediately start decorating for spring :)  I am definitely ready for spring!

Thank you so much for visiting me today.  Have a wonderful weekend.  XO Amy

  1. Hi Amy, Oh I just love this post. Love your bucket and the reminder of my grandmother and the olive buckets she had like this and used in her grape arbor. Many a day we would pick grapes and fill the bucket. Love how you have displayed it with the lace.

Wishing you a very Happy Anniversary with your sweetheart and love forever.
    Hugs, Celestina Marie
